At Odemny Cut, your privacy is our core value. This Privacy Policy describes how we process your personal data and media assets.

🛡️ Our Core Privacy Standard: The Timeline-Only Model

Your videos never touch our servers. Unlike traditional cloud-based video editors, Odemny Cut uses a client-side sandboxed timeline model. All rendering, editing, cropping, and compositing processes occur entirely inside your local browser memory using CPU, GPU, and Web Assembly resources. Your raw footage remains private on your machine.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up via Google Login, we only store your basic profile information (User ID, name, email address) to authorize cloud sync capabilities.
Project Metadata: We save only lightweight XML/JSON project metadata (timestamps, track layers, text strings, and layout structures) in Firebase to allow project loading on other devices. No actual video/audio content is uploaded.

2. How Data is Processed

Your media clips are read locally by the browser. If you select **Sync to Drive**, only your custom database project file is synced to your private Google Drive account. Your privacy barrier is absolute.

3. Data Retention

We retain your profile credentials and database references only as long as your Odemny Cut account is active. You can request account deletion at any time by contacting our support team, which will purge all database references instantly.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use local storage keys and minimal persistent authentication cookies to keep you signed in between sessions and preserve your editor preferences.
